Heraldry is a system that allows players to use either random or custom coat-of-arms to identify their constructions in Airships: Conquer the Skies.
Bonuses
The first symbol used on the coat-of-arms determines the bonus provided (no bonus in multiplayer mode). Symbols that do not provide a bonus are not listed.
- Anvil - -50% cost to all forms of steel armour
- Bee - Ships and buildings are built twice as fast
- Crown - Conquered cities have no pacification period
- Dragon - You can build Dragonriders
- Eagle - All cannons are twice as accurate
- Eye - Spy actions are 50% cheaper and 50% more likely to succeed
- Harpoon - Bonus research/money gains from defeating encounters
- Guillotine - Revolting cities join your empire
- Lion - 50% faster reload in boarding combat
- Mountain - +30% lift from suspendium chambers
- Mullet - +30% damage with all explosive weapons (can, rarely, be obtained from defeating Mad Scientists during the campaign; not sure if stacks)
- Scales - +15% income from cities
- Tower - -50% cost to all forms of stone armour
- Tree - -50% cost to all forms of wooden armour
- Waves - Fires are put out twice as quickly
- Wheel - Ships are ready for commands twice as quickly
- Wrench - Repair 50% faster
Start with one of the following technologies already researched, presumably based on the starting technology tier for the campaign:
- Estoile - Gunnery, Metallurgy, Reinforced Hulls, Fortifications
- Gear - Machinery, Landships, Machining
- Goutte - Explosives, Advanced Explosives, Combustibles
- Lozenge - Energised Suspendium, High-Pressure Suspendium, Scientific Suspendium Mining
- Spearhead - Military Training, Aerial Tactics, Aerial Corps, Elite Infantry
- Vol - Military Training, Aerial Corps, Heavier Than Air Flight
- Wolf - Machinery, Landships, Articulated Machinery
